• To provide a coordinated, collaborative population health* approach to the management of ACHF through multisectoral representation

• To allocate funds for community-based HIV work

• To influence HIV-related policies, practices and programs across government and other sectors

* An approach that aims to improve the health of the entire population and to reduce health inequities among population groups. In order to reach these objectives, this approach looks at and acts upon the broad range of factors and conditions (“determinants”) that have a strong influence on our health.
