Eligibility for ACHF Funding

Voluntary, non-profit organizations

Must have a principle mandate of community-based HIV/AIDS and/or Harm Reduction programming

Organization can be local/regional or provincial in scope

Organizations in ï¿½good standingï¿½ with ACHF.*

*For an agency to be in ï¿½good standingï¿½ they must have satisfied all of the requirements of any past (and present) contribution agreements between themselves and the Alberta Community Council on HIV, who administers the Fund through the Fund Steward.

Harm Reduction and Assisted Living programs are funded exclusively by Alberta Health & Wellness due to jurisdictional issues.

Safeworks, Streetworks and Kairos House (all programs of other agencies with mandates broader than HIV/AIDS or Harm Reduction) have been grandfathered into the fund.
