Alberta HIV Stigma and Immigration Medical Examination (IME) Study

Since 2000, there have been more African immigrants living with HIV in Canada. But, health care workers know very little about the experience that African immigrants and their families face, while living with HIV and trying to adjust to Canadian life. The University of Calgary's Faculty of Nursing would like to learn more about your experience, so that they can find ways to better help people like yourself.

This study will help them understand your experience of living with HIV, stigma, and what it was like to get tested for HIV during the immigration process.
